Find ski buddies in Turin

Turin hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, and its mountains are close. The Via Lattea area, linking Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx and Sansicario with Claviere and Montgenèvre across the French border, is the classic day trip up the Susa Valley. Bardonecchia, at the top of the valley, hosted the snowboard events in 2006 and is still a favourite with snowboarders. Turin's riders often go up for the day and are back in the city for dinner, and the city's students and young professionals keep the scene lively.
