Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use encryption, authentication mechanisms, secure access controls, and industry-standard protections. Only authorised personnel may access your data.

3a. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. For EU users, transfers are protected under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

3b. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate Broski securely:

  • AWS: hosting, authentication, storage
  • Stream Chat: encrypted messaging services
  • Apple: Sign-in authentication and notifications

3c. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, though backups may persist for a limited time for security and compliance purposes.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your data. We only disclose it:

  • If required by law or legal process
  • To prevent fraud, harm, or security threats
  • To comply with law enforcement when necessary

1. Community Guidelines

By using Broski, you agree to:

  • Not harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Not use Broski for advertising or commercial purposes
  • Not impersonate another person
  • Not encourage dangerous or illegal activity
  • Not misrepresent your skiing/snowboarding ability

2. Safety Notice & User Responsibility

Broski cannot verify user identities or intentions. You are solely responsible for evaluating the safety and suitability of any meetup. Use caution when meeting new people.

3. Mountain Activity & Injury Disclaimer

Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks, including collisions, environmental hazards, equipment failures, and weather changes. By using Broski, you agree that:

  • Broski does not organise or supervise meetups
  • Broski is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or equipment loss
  • You assume all risks associated with skiing and meeting others
  • Broski is not liable for behaviour or actions of other users

4. Safety Tips for Meeting Others

  • Meet in public or crowded resort areas first
  • Tell a friend your plans
  • Start with an easy warm-up run
  • Avoid backcountry/off-piste skiing with new people
  • Trust your instincts and leave if you feel unsafe

5. Reporting Users

If someone behaves inappropriately, makes you uncomfortable, or violates these Terms, you may report the user by contacting us at:

Reports may result in warnings, suspension, or account removal. We may contact authorities if a report indicates a credible safety concern.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant Broski a license to store, display, and use that content within the app.

7. No Guarantee of Matches or Interactions

We do not guarantee that you will meet, match with, or find suitable partners on Broski. Match suggestions are informational only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Broski App Limited is not liable for:

  • Meetups or interactions arranged through the app
  • Injuries or accidents during skiing or snowboarding
  • User behaviour, misconduct, or misrepresentations
  • Loss or damage to equipment or property
  • Reliance on user-generated content

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Broski is to stop using the app.

9. Identity Verification Disclaimer

Broski does not verify the identity of users. You should use caution and judgment when interacting with others.
