Find ski buddies in Stockholm

Stockholm riders practise close to home at Hammarbybacken, a small slope in the south of the city, and save the big days for trips north and west. Sälen, near the Norwegian border, is a popular destination for family weeks and trips with friends, while Åre in Jämtland is Sweden's best-known resort, with big terrain and a lively après scene. Vemdalen and Romme are other favourites. Night trains and long drives are part of the adventure, and the school winter break, sportlov, sends many Stockholmers to the mountains.
