Rusutsu spreads across three mountains not far from Niseko and is famous for its tree skiing, with groomed runs lined by gladed powder on both sides. From the top, there are views over Lake Toya and across to Mount Yotei. It tends to feel less crowded than Niseko, so the powder often lasts longer after a storm.
