Find ski buddies in Spokane

Spokane is surrounded by a ring of mid-sized mountains, which makes it an easy place to ride a lot. Mount Spokane is the closest, in a state park north of the city, and 49 Degrees North is a popular day trip. Across the Idaho border, Schweitzer above Sandpoint, Silver Mountain in Kellogg and Lookout Pass on the Montana line all make good weekend destinations. The Inland Northwest scene is friendly and unhurried, and plenty of locals ride several different mountains in a season.
