About this event
Steamboat opens its 2026-27 winter season on Saturday, November 21 with its Opening Day Celebration: festivities start at 7:30am and lifts open at 8:30am. The first 100 on the mountain get a limited-edition Opening Day tee and Smartwool socks, there are free Powder Day donuts, coffee and mimosas while supplies last, and everyone counts down to ring the Champagne Powder Snow Bell. Join the chat to find people to take first laps with. Opening day depends on conditions, so check Steamboat's updates before you head up.
